The latest Xiaomi Mi 5 smartphone has finally been launched in India at a price of Rs 24,999. As we all know that the smartphone comes with high-end features at a very competitive price point and it was officially announced at the MWC 2016 event in Barcelona.

Xiaomi’s latest flagship the Mi 5 comes with a Snapdragon 820 SoC with 1.8GHz 64-bit Quad-Core CPU and Adreno 530 GPU. The device houses a 5.15-inch display with curved glass and a resolution of Full HD 1920×1080 pixels.

The handset runs on Android v6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 7 on top. It has 3GB of RAM with 32GB on board memory, and a 2910mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging. The device supports 4G LTE with VoLTE connectivity and comes with Dual SIM card slots.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 sports a 16-megapixel Sony IMX298 camera sensor on the back, with phase detection auto focus (PDAF), f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and is capable of 4K video recording. The phone also has a 4MP front camera with 80-degree wide-angle lens.

Measuring 144.55×69.2×7.25mmand weighing just 129 grams, the Xiaomi Mi 5 comes with Fingerprint scanner and Infrared sensor. The phone also comes with all the basic connectivity features like WiFi dual-band (MIMO), GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2 and USB Type-C.

The device comes in three color options – Black, Gold and White and will be available through via flash sale starting from April 6th.
