Samsung has officially introduced the new Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) in its existing J series in India. Successor to the last year’s Galaxy J3, the new smartphone targeted at bike riders as it comes with a new ‘S bike mode’.
The notable feature of the device is ‘S bike mode’ which is activated using the NFC tag and it will handle all incoming calls by activating pre-recorded message for callers. In the case of emergency callers can choose option 1 for urgent calls.
The ‘S bike mode’ also has a Motion Lock feature that will prevent you from answering the call while riding a bike, which means you can answer the call after the bike comes to a halt.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) features a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 Pixels, runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with TouchWiz UI on top, and powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core 64-bit processor paired with the Mali-400 GPU.
Fueled by a 2600mAh battery, the smartphone comes with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable memory via MicroSD card slot support up to 128GB. It houses an 8MP auto focus camera with LED Flash on the back and a 5MP front facing selfie focused camera.
Measuring 142.3 x 71x 7.9mm and weighing just 138 grams, the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) comes with dual-SIM and LTE connectivity. Other connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.1, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio etc.

It has Opera Max powered Ultra data saving (UDS) mode to save the mobile data. The phone also comes with double data benefit offer on Vodafone 4G for 6 months or 3G for 2 months. The offer is applicable on the data packs of 1GB and above.
Like other galaxy smartphones, it comes in Black, Gold and White colors. It is now available exclusively on Snapdeal for Rs 8,990.
