Samsung Galaxy J1 mini

Samsung has quietly introduced a new budget friendly smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy J1 mini for the Philippines. As the name suggests this is a mini variant of the Galaxy J1, so it comes with less features. The company announced this phone in Black, White and Gold color variant. There’s no word on pricing yet.

The front of the Galaxy J1 mini features a 4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 800 x 480. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, and powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 786MB of RAM. The phone packs a 1500mAh Battery and 8GB of internal memory with up to 64GB MicroSD support.

The Samasung Galaxy J1 mini sports a 5-Megapixel primary camera with 720p HD video recording similar to Galaxy J1 but lacks of LED flash. It also has a VGA camera on the front for video chat. This is a 3G enabled smartphone with dual SIM support and also has WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and FM Radio and 3.0mm audio jack. It is 10.8mm thick and weighs in at 123g.
