The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu Technology has introduced its latest smartphone named the Meizu MX5e in the company’s existing MX series. It comes in two storage variants, one with 16GB and another with 32GB. The recent leak also reveals that the company is all set to announce the m3 note in Chian tomorrow.
The Meizu MX5e comes with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood the devices packs a MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) SoC with Octa-Core 64-bit CPU along with PowerVR G6200 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
The smartphone is powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop based Flyme OS 4.5. It has a 16/32GB internal storage and a 3150mAh battery with mCharge technology. The device supports Dual SIM (4G + 4G) with 4G LTE and 3G HSPA+ connectivity. It also has WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS etc.
Measuring 149.9x 74.7x 7.6mm and weighing 149 grams, the Meizu MX5e comes with a 16MP rear camera with 6P lenses, Laser Auto focus, dual tone LED Flash and 4K video recording capabilities. The front of the smartphone has a 5MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The device features a metal body design with magnesium alloy frame, mTouch 2.0 security & fingerprint recognition, and mBack touch-sensitive home button.
In terms of pricing, the Meizu MX5e will cost 1499 Yuan (approximately US$231) for 16GB variant and 1699 Yuan (approximately US$262) for the 32GB model. The handset already went on sale and now you can purchase it via official online store in China.
