Meizu has now officially unveiled its latest Meizu m3 smartphone in China. The company announced this smartphone in two variants, with 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage for 599 yuan (roughly US$ 92 / Rs. 6,150) and 3GB RAM/ 32GB memory for 799 yuan (roughly US$ 122 / 8200).
The smartphone is now available to pre-order via the official online store and will start shipping from 29th April. Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on its global roll out. It comes in Blue, Grey, Gold, Pink and White colors.
Successor to the last year’s m2, the m3 packs in a 5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass, is powered by a MediaTek MT6750 SoC with an 1.5GHz Octa-Core 64bit CPU paired Mali T860 GPU and runs on YunOS with FlyMe 5.1 on top. The 2870mAh battery powers the entire package.
It comes with 2GB/ 3GB RAM and 16GB/ 32GB internal storage with microSD support up to 128GB. It has a 13 Megapixel main camera with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), dual-tone LED Flash, and also has a 5 Megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture, 4P lens.
In terms of its connectivity, The Meizu m3 has Hybrid Dual SIM connectivity with 4G LTE capabilities on both. Measuring 141.5×69.5×8.3mm and weighing 132 grams, the smartphone comes with poly-carbonate body, WiFi 802.11(2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS / GLONASS connectivity.
