Lenovo announced two new budget friendly smartphones, Lenovo Vibe K5 and Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus – at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Both the smartphones will be available in Champagne Gold, Graphite Gray and Platinum Silver colors, and cost USD 129 and USD 149 respectively. They will go on sale starting next Week.

Both the phones have the same features and design, the only difference between these phones is that the Vibe K5 Plus sports a Full HD display and a powerful processor compared to Vibe K5.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 comes with a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display, and runs on an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 64-bit processor clocked at 1.4GHz. While the Lenovo K5 plus has a 5-inch 1080p Full HD IPS display, and powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 64-bit processor.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 and K5 Plus, both smartphones’ share very similar features including Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB built in storage, MicroSD card slot, 2750mAh removable battery, and Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Connectivity options including Dual SIM, 4G LTE, GPS, WiFi, FM Radio, Bluetooth and Micro USB 2.0 connectivity options.

The smartphones feature 13 Megapixel primary camera with LED flash with Full HD recording support, and a 5 Megapixel front facing camera. For an enhanced audio experience, the smartphones come with the  Dolby audio and stereo speakers in the rear.
