The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus has finnaly launched in India priced at Rs 8499. As we reported earlier, this phone was introduced at the MWC event last month. The phone comes in three color options – Platinum Silver, Champagne Gold and Graphite Gray, and will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart starting from 23rd March.

The company said that it will offer an exchange scheme which will give a chance the Lenovo A6000 and A6000 Plus users to upgrade their phone during the first open sale. Like Lenovo Vibe K4 Note and Vibe X3, the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus comes with the TheaterMax technology for an immersive VR experience with the ANT VR headset

In terms of specifications, the Vibe K5 Plus features a 5-inch Full HD IPS display with 450 nits brightness, powered by an Octa-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor coupled with Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of internal storage with MicroSD support up to 128GB. The handset packs a 2750mAh removable battery, and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with company’s official UI on top.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus has Dual SIM slots with 4G connectivity support. It also support 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity.

Measuring 142x71x8.2mm and weighing 142 grams, the smartphone has a 13MP primary camera with Omnivision OV13850 sensor, 5P lenses, f/2.2 aperture, 1080p video recording support and LED Flash. The handset also has 5MP front-facing camera, Dolby Atmos, dual speakers and PM8916 audio codec.
