Huawei has officially unveiled a lighter variant of its P9, dubbed the Huawei P9 Lite. As we know, the company introduced the latest Huawei P9 along with the P9 Plus, yesterday. The smartphone is expected to be rolled out in Russia sometime in June. It will be available in only two color options, Silver and Gold. There’s no information about its global roll out and pricing.
The Huawei P9 Lite houses a 5.2-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, powered by an Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 650 SoC and 2GB/3GB RAM with 16GB expandable memory up to 128GB via microSD. The device packs a 3,000mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with EMUI 4.1 on top.

The rear of the Huawei P9 Lite comes equipped with a 13MP camera with LED flash and a Fingerprint sensor. While the front has an 8MP camera. Like the Huawei P9, it also comes with Hybrid Dual SIM with 4G LTE, NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type-C, etc.
