Huawei has expanded its device portfolio with a new Huawei MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro tablet in its existing MediaPad-series. The tablet is currently listed on the company’s official website. There’s no word yet on its pricing details or availability.
Huawei MediaPad T2 10.0 features a 10.1-inch WUXGA IPS display with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels, 800:1 contrast ratio and up to 300 nits brightness. Under the hood, the tablet packs an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor coupled with Adreno 405 GPU.
It comes in two variants, one with 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage and another one with 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage. Both variants will come with an option to expand the storage by up to 128GB via MicroSD.
The tablet is powered by a large 6660mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Emotion UI 3.1 on top. The device sports an 8 Megapixel auto-focus primary camera with LED flash, and also includes a 2 Megapixel front-facing camera.
Measuring 259.1×156.4×8.5mm and weighing 495 grams, the tablet comes with 4G LTE (optional), GPS / aGPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity options.
