HTC has officially announced the new HTC Desire 830 in its existing 800 series in Taiwan. It will cost NT$ 9,990 (roughly US$ 310 / Rs. 20,615) and go on sale starting from 6th May in Taiwan.
The handset will be available in at least two color variants, White with Blue and White with Orange. The phone is just 7.79mm thick and weighs in at 156 grams. But, unfortunately, there’s no word yet on its global release date.
In terms of specifications, the HTC Desire 830 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by a Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753T processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Mali-T720 GPU.
It includes 3GB of RAM and a 32GB of internal memory which can be expanded by up to 2TB via microSD. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS skinned with the HTC Sense 7 UI and also includes a 2800mAh battery.

The HTC Desire 830 sports a 13 Megapixel primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), LED Flash, BSI sensor and Full HD 1080p video recording capabilities. It also has a UltraPixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture and 26.8mm wide-angle lens.
The smartphone comes with a Dual front-facing stereo speakers, Dolby audio and Boomsound. On the connectivity front, the device features 4G LTE connectivity, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS / GLONASS and Bluetooth 4.0.
