The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC has officially announced its latest flagship smartphone the HTC 10, today. It comes in at least four color options – Carbon Grey, Camellia Red, Glacier Silver and Topaz Gold color.
The new HTC 10 will be available for pre-order starting today, with prices starts at $699 in the US and will ship starting from early May. There is no official word on the India launch or prices of HTC 10.
The HTC 10 features an aluminium uni-body design and a physical home button with a fingerprint sensor. The smartphone supports Quick charge 3.0 and USB Type-C. It also has 3 noise cancellation microphones, HTC BoomSound and Dolby Surround Sound to play 24-bit high-resolution surround sound.

The new smartphone packs a 5.2-inch 2K screen with a 2.5D curved display glass, is powered by a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64-bit SoC along with Adreno 530 GPU and 4G of RAM. It comes in two storage variants, one with 32GB and another with 64GB. And of course, the handset includes a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion up to 2TB.
The device backed by a 3000mAh battery, and comes pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense 8.0 UI on top. The phone houses a 12 megapixel primary camera with HTC’s own Ultrapixel technology, Laser autofocus and also includes a 5-Megapixel front facing camera.
The rear camera also supports 4K video recording. Both the rear and front cameras have f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). According to the company, this is the world’s first dual OIS handset.
The connectivity options include 4G LTE, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with GLONASS, etc. The HTC 10 measures are 145.9 x 71.9 x 3.0 – 9.0mm and weighs in at 161 grams.
